Printer Administration

Configuring the Printer on the Voice System

Lucent Technologies supports the standard parallel printers that have the UnixWare 2.1.7 driver. Contact your field support personnel if you want to connect a serial printer to the system.

To configure a local parallel printer:

1At the Console Login: prompt, enter root The system prompts you for a password.

2Enter your root password.

The system displays the system prompt #.

3Enter cvis_mainmenu

The system displays the administration main menu (Figure 124).
