Speci®c Media Type

Select this checkbox if the list output should only include volumes of a certain media type. Use the associated drop-down list to select which media type to limit the output to. The media type describes the physical characteristics of the cartridge as well as the logical library the volume is associated with. The library sequence number is shown next to each media type (xxxxx). Some or all of the following selections are available based on the number and type of logical libraries:

v1 - CST (Non-VTS xxxxx)

vE - ECCST (Non-VTS xxxxx)

vJ - HPCT (Non-VTS xxxxx)

v1 - CST (VTS 1 xxxxx)

vE - ECCST (VTS 1 xxxxx)

vJ - HPCT (VTS 1 xxxxx)

v1 - CST (VTS 2 xxxxx)

vE - ECCST (VTS 2 xxxxx)

vJ - HPCT (VTS 2 xxxxx)

Speci®c Category

Select this checkbox if the list output should only include volumes with a speci®c category. Use the associated entry ®eld to enter the desired category. The category must be entered as a 4 digit hexidecimal number.

Volser Mask

Select this checkbox if the list output should only include volumes that match the volser mask. Use the associated entry ®eld to enter the 1 to 6 character volser mask. You can include a wildcard (pattern-matching) character, where ? or _ indicates one character and * or % indicates multiple characters.

Flags Select the desired ¯ag radio buttons if the list should only include volumes with certain ¯ags set or cleared. Each ¯ag can be set to 1 of 3 possible settings by clicking on the associated radio button.

The ¯ags can be:

vYes

The ¯ag's condition applies to this volume (list volumes that this ¯ag applies to).

vNo

The ¯ag's condition does not apply to this volume (list volumes that this ¯ag does not apply to).

vIgnore

List volumes with the ¯ags set to any value (list volumes without regard to the state of the ¯ag).

The following ¯ags can be selected:

vMisplaced

vUnreadable

vMounted

vInaccessible

vManual Mode
