10. Start AUTO_FORM subsystem

Auto Forms Control is running as an ordinary AS/400 subsystem, and therefore has to be started as such. It is a good idea to let the subsystem start automatically at IPL. This is done by inserting the following commands in your startup program:

STRSBS SBSD(APF3812/AUTO_FORM)

MONMSG CPF0000

Of course, you can always start the sub-system manually, by the command:

STRSBS APF3812/AUTO_FORM

11. End AUTO_FORM subsystem

Before applying a new license code or making upgrades to the AUTO_FORM sub-system, this should be ended.

This can be done in the menu or by the command (check first if jobs are currently being processed):

ENDSBS SBS(AUTO_FORM) OPTION(*IMMED)

12. Work with Active Subsystem AUTO_FORM

This menu item is a shortcut to the command:

WRKACTJOB SBS(AUTO_FORM)
