Use	To
Tray [x] Type	Specify the paper type loaded in each tray.
Plain Paper	Notes:
Card Stock
	• Plain Paper is the factory default setting for Tray 1. Custom Type [x] is
Transparency
	the factory default setting for all other trays.
Recycled
	• If available, a user‑defined name will appear instead of Custom Type [x].
Labels
Bond	• Use this menu to configure automatic tray linking.

MP Feeder Size	Specify the paper size loaded in the multipurpose feeder.
A4	Notes:
A5
	• Letter is the U.S. factory default setting. A4 is the international factory

	default setting.
JIS B5
	• From the Paper menu, set Configure MP to “Cassette” for MP Feeder
Letter
	Size to appear as a menu.
Legal
	• The multipurpose feeder does not automatically detect paper size.
Executive
	Make sure to set the paper size value.
