Switching the sound muting/

attenuation

Sound from this system is muted, attenuated
or mixed automatically in the following cases:
!When a call is made or received using a
cellular phone connected to navigation sys-
tem.
!When the voice guidance is output.
pThe sound muting/attenuation function
does not work when you use a cellular
phone connected to the navigation system
via the Bluetooth adapter,which is sold se-
parately.
pWhen 5.1CH setting is [On], the sound
muting/attenuation setting is not available.

menu.
Each touch of [Mute Input/Guide] changes
the settings as follows:
!MuteMuting
!ATT Attenuation
!NormalVolume does not change
pOperationreturns to normal when the
phoneconnection (the mutesignal on the
yellow/blacklead) is ended or when the na-
vigationguidance is ended.
pEvenwhen you receive a phone call, naviga-
tionvoice guidance cannot be attenuated
ormuted. Use [Volume]to control the navi-
gationvoice guidance volume.

Switching 5.1CH setting

When the navigation system is combined with
the multi-channel processor system (e.g. DEQ-
P8000 and AXM-P8000) (sold separately), you
can use the multi-channel sound.
Enter the following setting when combining
the multi-channel processor system.
CAUTION
DONOT enter this setting before you connect the
multi-channelprocessor system. (If thissetting is
entered,the RCA(SUBWOOFER OUTPUTor
NON-FADINGOUTPUT) will output maximum vo-
lumefor the multi-channel processor system.)
Pioneeris not responsible for any damage to the
speakerequipment caused by ignoring this warn-
ing.
pThis setting is possible only when the opti-
cal cable connection box (supplied with the
Multi-channel processor) is connected to
the navigation system.

If you touch [5.1CH], it will be turned [On]. If
you touch [5.1CH] again to turn [Off].
