Making a call by enteringphone number
The most basic way to make a call is to simply
dial the number.
1 Touch[BT-TEL] in AV Source screen to
select the cellular phone source.

onpage 39.
2 Touch[Direct].
The direct dial screen appears.
3 Touchthe number keys to enter the
phone number.
The input phone number is displayed below
the device name.
Inputnumber
ADD +:
Adds or deletes + before the phone number.
:
The input number is deleted letter by letter
from the end of the number.Continuing to
press deletes all of the numbers.
Set:
Change to the preset dial listscreen. You can
assign the input number to thepreset dial list.

ESC:
Return to the previous screen.
4 Touch to make a call.
pTheestimated call time appears in thedis-
play.
pTheestimated call timein thedisplay may
differ from the actual call time.
pThename (if registered on the phone book)
andphone numberare displayed.
5 Touch to end the call.
Making a call from the history list
The most recent calls made (dialled), received
and missed are stored in the call history list.
Youcan browse the call histor y list and call
numbers from it.
pUp to 12 calls are stored in each list.
pThe call history is stored only when the re-
gistered phone is connected to this naviga-
tion system.
1 Touch[Log].
The history list screen appears.
2 Touch[Log] to change the list.
pEachtouch of [Log]changes the lists asfol-
lows:
Missedcalls list Dialedcalls list Re -
ceivedcalls list
pTouching or switches to the next or pre-
viouspage in the list.
3 Touchthe desired phone number.
pTouching[ADD +] adds or deletes + be-
forethe phone number.
pEachtouch of [ABC/123]changes the dis-
playon the list between the name and the
phonenumber.
pIf the name is not registeredin the phone
book[No Name] will be displayed.
pIf a incomingcall number is not available to
display,“–” will be appear instead of the
number.
