1. INSTALLATION
1.1 Location
Now, you have to choose asuitable location for the machine. For the best possible performance,
install your machine in aplace which satisfies the following conditions.
Not exposed to direct sunlight
Well ventilated (air turnover at least three times per hour)
Level
Not subject to vibration
Away from other electronic equipment, to avoid interference.
Away from areas containing corrosive gas
Dust-free
Condensation-free
Temperature 63 to 82°F
Humidity 40 to 70% RH (do not install near ahumidifier)
Away from heaters and air conditioners, to avoid sudden changes of temperature
Within 5yards of athree-pin grounded power outlet (1 15 +- 20 Volts, 60 +1 Hz)

Important Points about Power Connection
The supply from the wall outlet must not fluctuate by more than 20V either side of 115V ac.
. The power cord should not be laid in aplace where it might trip somebody.
Do not lay anything on the power cord.
. If you have to use an extension cord, make sure that it is capable of carrying 125V/1 5A,
and that your facsimile terminal is the only piece of equipment connected to that cord.
. The facsimile terminal must be grounded with athree-pin grounded power outlet.
