2-4 Transfer Result Report

After the end of atransfer transmission, the broadcasting station sends you this report. The report lists the telephone numbers of the broadcasting station and the end receivers, and indicates whether each transmission was successful or not. Retransmit pages that were not transmitted, either directly or through another transfer.

The format of the report will vary according to the type of machine that is being used as a broadcaster.

If your machine is the broadcasting terminal, it will print the report if it cannot send it to the transfer requesting terminal (e. g., due to a busy line). The report asks you to send the report manually, and the telephone number is given. See below for an example.

2-5 New Polling File Report

This report isprinted automatically after you program themachine for polling reception. It gives the file number, time of polling, and destinations (including any Group numbers you used).

The polling reception report can be output after polling has finished. This option can be enabled ordis- abled by your service representative.

Polling reception reports output after a polling operation may have’’E’’followed byacode in the Result coulumn and a message printed at the bottom. This code and message indicate that a problem oc- curred. The codes are explained below.
