To switch ECM on or off:

1. PreSS Function 8 3 Yes .

3-6 User Function Keys

This machine has four user function keys, F1 to F4, located at the left of the operation panel. You can program each of the keys to access a function from the function list on the back of this manual.

If you useoneof the functions inthe list quite often, program it asauserfunction key. This will save you a few moments every time you use that function.

For example, if you often do Function 51 (Communicated Page Counter) do the following.
