3.OTHERS

3-1 Transfer Broadcasting

Transfer broadcasting allows your machine to be a broadcasting station in a transfer request oper- ation (see page 54), if your ID code is the same as that of the requesting and receiving terminals.

This is an automatic procedure — any terminal that hasthe same lDcodeas you can use your machine

as a broadcaster. You do not have to be by your machine during the operation.

3-2 Speaker

The speaker can be used to Iistento the telephone Iineduring transmission, reception oron-hookdial- ina. The sDeaker is cut off shortlv after the start of communication.

The speaker volume can be controlled with Function 55.

 

 

If thespeaker has been enabled, you will beableto hear the Iinecondition

during communication.

If the

line is busy, you can press Stop and begin another operation.

 

 

1.When the unit is in standby mode,

2.Adjust the volume of the on-hook dial monitor while listening to the speaker.

. Raise volume: press # .

. Lower volume: press * .

When correct, press Yes .

3.Repeat step 2 for the trans- mission monitor.

RECV MONITORy/*/#

MIN >MAX

4.Repeat step 3 for the recep- tion monitor.

Press Yes to return to standby.

Note: If all “>”signs disappear, the speaker volume is zero.
