2-3 Authorized Reception
If youareconcerned about junk fax mail using up your paper supply, you can use authorized reception.
This feature allows you to specify up to 30 terminals from which you will accept fax messages; all
others will be shut out.
The following functions control authorized reception:
●Function 57 —Authorized Reception On/Off
●Function 78 —Authorized Reception List Output
●Function 85 —programming Authorized Reception
–Programming Authorized Reception –
You can specify up to 30 fax machines from which you will accept fax messages. For each terminal,
you must know the programmed RTI (if it is afax terminal made by Ricoh) or CSI (if it is another manu-
facturer’s model). If that fax terminal subsequently changes its RTlor CSl, you will have toprogram the r
new one.
Hint :You can get the other party’s RTI or CSI from the TCR (see page 89).
