RS-232C Interface
This is adigital interface that will allow you to connect the fax to aMacintoshTM personal computer
for use as aback-up printer.
Optional Memory Board
The machine can be upgraded with an extra 1Mbyte (73 letter-size pages of the CCITT#l Slerexe
Ietter test chart) of memory or an extra2 Mbytes (146 letter-size pages)of memory. The maximum
amount of memory permissible using memory boards is 3Mbytes, or 219 pages.
Hard Disk
The machine can be upgraded with a20-Mbyte hard disk (1 ,200 letter-size [8 1/2” x11”] pages of
the CCITT # 1 Slerexe letter test chart). If ahard disk is added, optional memory boards cannot be
used, and the basic 1Mbyte of memory inside your machine will be disabled. So the maximum
amount of memory is 1,200 pages.
Paper Feed Unit
This cassette allows you to add an extra 500 sheets of copy paper.
