Use the procedures described below to copy important video stored in the normal recording area or the alarm recording area to the digital video recorder’s archive area, a CompactFlash card, a Microdrive or CD-R/RW.

OPERATION

zCopied data is stored as a continuous recording.

zWhen video is being downloaded from the normal recording area or alarm recording area to a CompactFlash card, a Microdrive or CD-R/RW, it is temporarily stored in the archive area before being copied from there to each media. Consequently, the amount of free space in the archive area is the maximum amount that can be copied. Note, however, that this video will not be retained in the archive area.

zIf archive area becomes full, copy important video to a CompactFlash card, a Microdrive or CD-R/RW. (JP.41) Following this, delete data from the archive area using “AREA FULL RESET” from the “ARCHIVE AREA” in “2.RECORDING AREA SET” on the <RECORD SET> sub-menu. (JP.67)
