Defining Output Types

You can change the output type for a segment at any time, i.e., from Multi Planar Reconstruction (MPR) to Maximum Intensity Projection (MIP), to Shaded Sur- face Display (SSD), or to Volume Rendering Technique (VRT).

Depending on your working method, you will first gen- erate a reference image, for example, in MPR in the desired view and then switch to MIP, SSD or VRT dis- play.

Click on the segment for which you want to change the output type.

If you want to switch over all segments, you must select and switch over each one separately, one after the other.

Creating Series

This application gives you the ability to easily create new images or even image series, e.g., for fast display of interesting anatomical structures

With any slice thickness (at least the reconstructed slice thickness)

Variable distance/angle between the images

Selectable number of images

Selectable range of reconstruction

Different output types

Parallel Ranges

With this option you generate series of cut images that are parallel to one another and perpendicular to the reference image for the output types MPR, MPR Thick, MIP Thin and VRT Thin.

For example, for MPRs or MIP Thin through a process in the lung or abdomen.
