Pairing channels

4 To disengage a pair, move the cursor to the corresponding STEREO button and press the [ENTER] key.

A popup window will ask you to conﬁrm that you want to disengage the pair.

5 Move the cursor to the OK button and press the [ENTER] key to conﬁrm and disengage the pair.

The STEREO button will change to a MONOx2 but- ton. If you move the cursor to the CANCEL button rather than the OK button and press the [ENTER] key the disengage-pair operation will be aborted and the channels will remain paired.

HINT

•All channel pairs can be disengaged at once by pressing the [F1] key while holding the Display section [SHIFT] key.

•For paired channels set the pan control to either full left or right to achieve nominal level (i.e. the same level before and after the pan control). For channels that are not paired nomi- nal level is achieved with the pan control set to center.

■Channel Pairing Using the Panel Keys

1 Use the Layer section keys to select the mix layer containing the channels you want to pair.

2 While holding the [SEL] key of one channel that you want to pair, press the [SEL] key of the adjacent channel.

HINT

•The [INPUT SEL] 1–8 keys can also be used to pair input channels 1–8.

3 Move the cursor to the appropriate button in the popup window and press the [ENTER] key.

The channels speciﬁed via the [SEL] keys will be paired.

4 To disengage pairing, press the [SEL] key of one of the paired channels while holding the [SEL] key of the other channel.

A popup window will ask you to conﬁrm that you want to disengage the pair.

5 To disengage the pair, press the OK button. If you decide not to disengage the pair, move the cursor to the CANCEL button and press the [ENTER] key.
