No Truncation: It does not truncate the capacity.

6.8.2 Ethernet Configuration (12/16/24-port)

Use this feature to set the controller Ethernet port configuration. A customer doesn’t need to create a reserved space on the arrays before the Ethernet port and HTTP service are working. The firm- ware-embedded Web Browser-based RAID manager can access it from any standard internet browser or from any host computer either directly connected or via a LAN or WAN with no software or patches required.

DHCP (Dynamic Host Configuration Protocol) is a protocol that lets network administrators manage centrally and automate the assignment of IP (Internet Protocol) configurations on a computer network. When using the Internet’s set of protocols (TCP/IP), in order for a computer system to communicate to another com- puter system, it needs a unique IP address. Without DHCP, the IP address must be entered manually at each computer system.
