“B” Group:
Software Lock

The software lock function keeps personnel from accidentally changing parameters in the inverter memory. Use B031 to select from various protection levels.
The table below lists all combinations of B031 option codes and the ON/OFF state of the [SFT] input. Each Check ✔ or Ex ✘ indicates whether the corresponding parameter(s) can be edited. The Standard Parameters column below lists Low and High level access for some lock modes. These refer to the parameter tables throughout this chapter, each of which includes a column titled Run Mode Edit as shown to the right. The two marks (Check ✔ or Ex ✘) under the “Lo Hi” subtitle indicate whether
applies to each parameter as defined in the table below. In some lock modes, you can edit only F001 and the
