6 Managing Licenses

Standard Edition supports a subset of the devices supported by Enterprise Edition. For a list of the devices supported by Standard Edition, see your product’s Support Matrix. About the License
The management server restricts the number of elements it manages through its license. It is important you keep your license up to date with the requirements of your network. The management server has several different types of license restrictions, as shown in Table 14 on page 167.
