Step 3 - Select a Host Security Group
1.Select a host security group in the LUN pane. See ”Creating a Host Security Group” on page 627 for information on how to create a host security group. See ”General Provisioning Issues” on page 563 for information on how your storage system handles host security groups.
2.Click Step 4.
3.Click Create Job.
The job is added to the bottom pane.
4.Take one of the following actions:
•If you want the job to execute now, click the Execute Job () button
•If you want the job to execute at a later time, schedule the job as described in the topic, ”Scheduling Provisioning Jobs” on page 628.
Providing a LUN Number
Keep in mind the following when providing a LUN number:
•LUN numbers must be unique.
•HDS 9200 series storage systems: LUN numbers must be between 0 and 128.
•HDS 9500V series storage systems: LUN numbers must be between 0 and 512.
•LSI storage systems: LUN numbers must be between 0 and 31.
•Symmetrix storage systems: LUN numbers must be between 1 and 8190.
You can enter a LUN number for a volume by placing the cursor under the LUN Number column, as shown in the figure below. Click OK when you are done. This dialog box is displayed if your storage system requires you to provide a LUN number.

Creating a System Action TemplateYou can create your own system action template, as described in the following steps.
