Appendix A. Printer Information

This appendix describes the supported character sets and DIP or Mode Select switch settings for some supported printers.

Supported Character Sets

Printer	Supported Character Set	Notes
Hewlett-Packard ThinkJet	Roman-8	All unsupported characters are printed as
		hyphens.
Hewlett-Packard DeskJet	ECMA 94	All unsupported characters are printed as
		hyphens.
Epson FX1050	Extended Graphic Character and	Emulates an IBM Proprinter XL.

Epson LQ1050	Extended Graphics Character	All unsupported characters are printed as
		hyphens.

Switch Settings

Set the following DIP or Mode Select switches to ensure optimal printer performance.

Hewlett-Packard ThinkJet

Refer to the manual that came with your printer for the location of the Mode Select switches.
