Loading the CD-ROM Drive

Press	the unload			button	to open the tray. Place the disc, with	the	printed		sid
from	the	tray, into the			tray. Slip out the bottom tabs to hold	the	disc	in	pla
gently on		the	load/unload		button. The drive automatically pulls the	tray	into	the
and	prepares		the	disc	for reading.

the drawer

comes

out,

and

then

remove

the

disc.

Cleaning

the

CD-ROM

Drive

This

CD-ROM

drive has an

internal

head-cleaning

mechanism,

and

therefore

does

not require

an

external cleaning device. The internal cleaning mechanism

cleans

the

head every time the tray is operated.

Always handle

discs

carefully by

the

edges

to

avoid

leaving fingerprints

or

scra

the

disc. This

helps the disc to maintain good

readability. Discs can be

wiped

soft,

lint-free

cloth or lens tissue. Always wipe

in a

straight

line

from

the inne

the

outer rim.
