User Guidelines

The path cost method is configured using the spanning-tree pathcost method Global Configuration mode command.

Example

The following example configures the spanning-tree cost on Ethernet port 15 to 35000.

Console(config)# interface ethernet ext.15

Console(config-if)# spanning-tree cost 35000

spanning-tree port-priority

The spanning-treeport-priorityInterface Configuration mode command configures port priority. To restore the default configuration, use the no form of this command.
