User Guidelines

The symbol that precedes the show clock display indicates the following:

Example

The following example displays the time and date from the system clock.

Console# show clock

15:29:03 PDT(UTC-7) Jun 17 2005 Time source is SNTP

Console# show clock detail 15:29:03 PDT(UTC-7) Jun 17 2005 Time source is SNTP

Time zone:

Acronym is PST

Offset is UTC-8

Summertime:

Acronym is PDT

Recurring every year.

Begins at first Sunday of April at 2:00.

Ends at last Sunday of October at 2:00.

Offset is 60 minutes.

show sntp configuration

The show sntp configuration Privileged EXEC mode command shows the configuration of the Simple Network Time Protocol (SNTP).

Syntax

show sntp configuration

Default Configuration

This command has no default configuration.
