key-string

The key-stringSSH Public Key-string Configuration mode command manually specifies an SSH public key.

Syntax

key-string key-string row key-string

Parameters

row — Indicates the SSH public key row by row.

key-string— Specifies the key in UU-encoded DER format; UU-encoded DER format is the same format in the authorized_keys file used by OpenSSH. (Range:0- 160)

Default Configuration

No keys exist.

Command Mode

User Guidelines

Use the key-stringSSH Public Key-string Configuration mode command to specify which SSH public key is to be interactively configured next. To complete the command, you must enter a row with no characters.

Use the key-string row SSH Public Key-string Configuration mode command to specify the SSH public key row by row. Each row must begin with a key-string row command. This command is useful for configuration files.
