Field-ReplaceableUnits in an EX8208 Switch
Field-replaceableunits (FRUs)are switch components that you can replace atyour site.
Theswitch uses these types of FRUs:
•Hot-insertableand hot-removable—Youcan remove and replacethese components
withoutpowering off the switch or disrupting the switching function.
•Hot-pluggable—Youcanremove and replacethese components without powering off
theswitch, but the switching function is interrupted until you replacethe component.
Table9 on page23 lists the FRUs for the EX8208 switch and their types.
