Change the setting of monitor hardware acceleration to “None”.

Do not use the hardware acceleration.

If hardware acceleration is set to “Full”, the following error occurs. Be sure to set “None” for hardware acceleration.

The screen becomes dark and nothing is displayed when a PCI module failed over (either the primary PCI module was stopped with ft server utility or when the primary PCI module failed).

When a PCI module is mounted, the following error is displayed in the event log and the PCI module is not duplicated.

Description: The reason IoBoard XX has gone broken is N2sDeadmanTimer. (XX is the device number of the PCI module)

The mouse is less responsive and it takes time to draw graphics. For details, see “Mouse Does Not Move Smoothly, And Drawing Graphics Takes Time:” of “Problems with NEC Express5800/ft series” in “SOLVING PROBLEMS” in Chapter 7 “Troubleshooting”.

Caution about allocating a drive letter for the CD-ROM device

Specifying “D” to the drive letter for the CD-ROM device is recommended.

The assigned drive letter may be changed after the system is restarted.

Remove the USB-FDD which was shipped with the server after performing “Safely Remove Hardware”.

Do not remove USB FDD without performing “Safely Remove Hardware”.

You may not be able to use the keyboard or mouse. In that case, disconnect the keyboard from the USB connector and then reconnect it.

For PCI board, only use supported N-code products.

If a product which is not supported is used, it does not function properly.

Peripheral devices cannot be connected to the serial port.

The serial port cannot be used. It is only used for certain maintenance operations.

If a peripheral device such as UPS is connected, the system operation becomes unstable.
