RESTARTING THE IN-SKIN ROUTER DURING OPERATION

If you need to restart the In-Skin Router during operation for some reason or other, three methods are avail- able. Each differs in startup operation; perform the restart suitable to your need.

Restarting by turning the power switch OFF and back ON

The restart with this method involves self-diagnosis, program loading, the loading of startup config, and the clearing of DRAM.

Restarting procedure

Check that the BUSY lamp is not flashing, then turn OFF the power switch of PN-RTA card (PWRSW) to stop the In-Skin Router. In a few seconds, turn ON the power switch again to restart the In-Skin Router.

Restarting with the reload command

The restart with this method involves program loading, the loading of startup config, and the clearing of DRAM.

Restarting procedure

Use the reload command in operation mode.
