Management Commands
These commands manage the switch and show current management settings.

show network

This command displays network configuration settings that are vital for switch operation.
Format show network
IP Address The IP address of the interface. The factory default value is
0.0.0.0
Subnet Mask The IP subnet mask for this interface. The factory default value is
0.0.0.0
Default Gateway The default gateway for this IP interface. The factory default
value is 0.0.0.0
BurnedIn MAC Address The burnedin MAC address used for in-band connectivity.
Network Configuration
Protocol Current Indicates which network protocol is being used. The options are
bootp|dhcp|none.
Web Mode Specifies if the switch should allow access from a web browser.
Enabled means the switch can be managed from a web browser.
The factory default is enabled.
Java Mode Specifies if the switch should allow access to the Java applet in
the header frame. Enabled means the applet can be viewed. The
factory default is enabled.

config network parms

This command sets the IP Address, subnet mask and gateway of the router. The IP Address and the
gateway must be on the same subnet.
Format config network parms <ipAddr> <netmask>
[gateway]

config network protocol

This command specifies the network configuration protocol to be used. If you modify this value
change is effective immediately.(See “save config” on page 80.)
