4Using the provided fields, create the new interface. These fields are outlined in the following table.

Description

The interface index to assign to the new interface. Click the button at the end of the field to select a previously configured interface. Otherwise, enter an index value directly.

The virtual router ID to assign to this interface.

The IP address to assign to this interface.

The status of the interface; active or inactive.

To delete a VRRP interface, use the following procedure.

Deleting a VRRP interface

1From the Device Manager menu, select IP Routing. The IP Routing menu appears.

2Select VRRP. The VRRP window opens.

3Select the Interface Address tab. The Interface Address window opens.

4Select an IfIndex to delete.

5Click Delete.
