UDP broadcast forwarding

UDP broadcast forwarding is a general mechanism for selectively forwarding limited UDP broadcasts received on an IP interface to a conﬁgured IP address. This section outlines the procedures used to conﬁgure and manage UDP broadcast forwarding using the Java Device Manager.

The Protocols tab of the UDP Forward dialog is used to deﬁne UDP ports for use in UDP forwarding.

To conﬁgure a UDP port, use the following procedure:
