TCP tab

The TCP tab displays Transmission Control Protocol (TCP) information for the switch. This is a read-only tab. To view information on the TCP tab, follow this procedure:

Step Action

1Open the IP screen by selecting IP Routing > IP from the menu. Select the TCP tab. This tab is illustrated below.

2Click Refresh to immediately refresh the information this tab displays.

The following table outlines the fields on this tab.

RtoAlgorithm

The algorithm used to determine the timeout

 

value used for retransmitting unacknowledged

 

octets.

 

 

RtoMin

The minimum value permitted by a TCP

 

implementation for the retransmission timeout,

 

measured in milliseconds.

 

 

RtoMax

The maximum value permitted by a TCP

 

implementation for the retransmission timeout,

 

measured in milliseconds.

 

 

MaxConn

The limit on the total number of TCP

 

connections that the entity can support.

 

In entities where the maximum number of

 

connections is dynamic, this object contains

 

the value -1.
