Specifies the Area ID expressed as IP address (A.B.C.D).

 

 

import-summaries

Controls the import of summary link state advertisements

into stub areas. This setting has no effect on other areas.

Used to specify range parameters for the OSPF area.

The no area command is executed in the Router Configuration mode.

Note: The configuration of a totally stubby area (no summary advertising) is a two step process. First, define an area with the import flag set to noexternal. Second, disable import summaries in the same area with the command no area <ip_address> import-summaries enable.

as-boundary-router command

The as-boundary-routercommand is used to denote a router as an Autonomous System Boundary Router.

The syntax of the as-boundary-routercommand is:

as-boundary-router {enable}

The as-boundary-routercommand is executed in the Router Configuration mode.

no as-boundary-router command

The no as-boundary-routercommand is used to withdraw a router as an Autonomous System Boundary Router.

The syntax of the no as-boundary-routercommand is:

no as-boundary-router {enable}

The no as-boundary-routercommand is executed in the Router Configuration mode.

default-cost ethernet command

The default-cost ethernet command is used to define the default cost metric of an ethernet (10 Mbps) port.

The syntax of the default-cost ethernet command is:

default-cost ethernet <metric_value>
