•Extension names can be up to 10 characters in length.

•The ability to make extension name assignments is allowed/restricted to anyone with a Class of Service (COS) that allows access to User Maintenance features. (See Chapter 4 “User Maintenance” of t his document.)

Speed Dial Name Assignments

You can assign names to Personal Speed Dial (PSD) numbers from a display telephone without entering the programming mode. If allowed in the Extension COS, you can also assign names to System Speed Dial (SSD) numbers.
