Verifying that the Adapter Driver is Installed
If SANsurfer FC HBA Manager is having trouble connecting to the local host, follow the procedure for your operating system to verify that the adapter driver is installed. If the adapter driver is not installed, then install it (see the SANsurfer FC HBA Manager Application Help or the QLogic Quick Start Guide).
If you determine that the adapter driver is installed, then consider the following:
If typing the host name in the Connect to Host dialog box, verify that you are typing the correct name. Refer to the system server information to check the system name. On the Connect to Host dialog box, select localhost.
