Viewing OSPF Global Parameters
To define and display OSPF Global parameters:
Select IP Route > OSPF > OSPF Global Parameters. The OSPF Global Parameters window opens.

The following parameters are displayed:

Field | Description |

OSPF Router ID | The ID number of the router. The router ID must be unique. By default, |
| the router ID equals one of the router’s IP addresses. |
|
|
OSPF Global | The administrative status of OSPF in the router. If not checked, OSPF |
Status | is not active on any interface, regardless of the settings in the OSPF |
| Interfaces window. |
|
|
Redistribute RIP | Controls redistribution of routes from RIP to OSPF. If checked, all |
into OSPF | routes learned via RIP are advertised into OSPF as external routes. |
