Set ppp incoming timeout Command

Use the set ppp incoming timeout command to configure the number of minutes until the system automatically disconnects an idle PPP incoming session.

The syntax for this command is:

set ppp incoming timeout <timeout-in-minutes>

<timeout-in-minutes> Number of minutes between 0 to 999 until the system automatically disconnects an idle PPP session. Setting the value to 0 disables the automatic disconnection of idle sessions. The default is no timeout.

Example:

P130-1# set ppp incoming timeout 20

PPPincoming sessions will automatically disconnect after 20 minutes of idle time.

Show ppp configuration Command

Use the show ppp configuration command to view the ppp configuration.

The syntax for this command is:

show ppp configuration

Example:

P130-N> show ppp configuration

PPP baud rate is 38400

PPPincoming timeout is 0 minutes PPP Authentication Parameters:

------------------------------

Incoming: PAP
