Watching a conference on a portable device (iPod or Zune)
If a conference has d own loadable output s suitable for portable d evices, you can downlo ad the
conference and then watch it on your iPod or Mi cr osoft Zune device. You need to use a comput er as
an intermediary device and then load the con ference to the iPod / Zune as you would any oth er file.
After the conference h as been loaded on th e device, you can watch it as often as you like.
Site managers can specify that downloadable outputs should be created in the Template used for a
conference before th e conference is creat ed . After the conferen ce has been recorded , site managers
or conference editors can add outputs by clicking Edit and then Manage Outputs for the conference .

To watch the conferen ce:
1. Go to View Conferences > Recorded and click Download for the conference.
2. Select the required form at: - one of iPod video, i Pod audio, Zune vid eo or Zune audio.
3. Browse to the directory on yo ur computer in whi ch you want to save the con fer ence temporaril y.
Click Save.
4. From your computer, load the conference on to you r portable device.
5. Play the conference on your p ortable device as you would any other file.
Sending a link so others can watch a conference
Click Share and th en Email in the Recorded conferences page to sh are conferences with ot hers. The
Share link onl y appears for conference s with streaming ou tputs. (Note that th e fact that you can watch
the conference does n ot automatically m ean that the person you se nd the conference lin k to will be
able to watch it: th is depends on the conferen ce permissions. )
If the conference requ ires a password for secu rity, a prompt i s displayed when the lin k is used.
Note: The link uses the Frontend address specified in Site settings, or if it was not defined, the URL
you typed in to your brows er to log in to the C ont ent Server.
