Displaying the server overview
To display the Server overview page go to go to Management se ttings > Server overvi ew . This
page displays the st atus of the Content Server an d is automatically up dated every ten second s. On a
standalone Conten t Server, apart from add ing option keys to acti vat e features, you cann ot update any
fields on this page. For a Content Server in a cluster, this page is also used to set the S ystem name,
H.323 IDs and E.164 aliases.

System
name
The name for the Conten t Server
that is unique in the cluster.
This section is only d isplayed for Content
Servers in a clust er an d therefore you can onl y
set the System name, H.323 ID and E.164 alias
here for Content Ser vers in a cluster. On a
standalone Conten t Server, go to Site settings to
complete those field s.
If the Content Server is i n a call when these
fields change, it enters Configuration R el oad
mode and the changes will n ot take effect unti l
all calls have ended.
H.323 ID
The system non-live and live H.323
IDs for this Conten t Server to
register to the gat ekeeper. It is not
recommended to call the Content
Server using these H . 323 IDs while
in a cluster.
E.164 alias
The system non-live an d live E.164
aliases for this Con tent Server to
register to the gat ekeeper. It is not
recommended to call the Content
Server using these E .164 aliases
while in a cluster.
Content Server statu s
Server
mode
The current statu s of the Content
Server.
Online: The Conten t Server can accept calls and
transcode output s.
Reloading Configurations: One or more of
System name, Gateke ep er settings, Advance d
H.323 settings, SIP settings or Email settings
have been saved in Site settings while the
Content Server was in a c all: the Content Server
is not accepting new calls an d when current call s
complete, setti ng s will be updated and Ser ver
mode will automatically ch ange to Online.
Maintenance: If the Content Server is in a
cluster, then the si te manager can place it in
Maintenance mod e, which means that no new
calls or offline tran scoding jobs are accept ed.
Entering Mainten ance mode or Rejoining t o the
cluster is done on t h e Cluster overview page.
Idle: The TCS wizard is running. The Cont ent
Server is not accept ing new calls or processin g
new offline transcoding jobs. To exit Idle mode,
complete or cancel t he wizard.
Offline: The Content Engine service is n ot
running. Current calls are dropped and new calls
are not accepted. To e xit Offline mode, st ar t the
Content Engine service, for example by
restarting the C ont ent Server: in the web
interface for Windows Server administration: go
to Maintenance > Shutdown > Restart.
