OU=marketing,OU=employees,DC=co
mpany,DC=com iden tifies users from
the Marketing d epartment only.
User DN
The LDAP identifier of the account in your
domain which the Content Server uses to
identify who is trying to log in. The User
DN (Distinguished name) is a unique
name for this accou n t comprising:
• CN (Common Name) of th e sp ecial
account
• OU (Organizational Unit)
• DC (Domain Object Class)
User DN examples:
CN=user_account ,OU=employees,DC=co
mpany,DC=com
CN=user_account ,OU=marketing,DC=co m
pany,DC=com
Note that DNs can have m any more than
four parts.
This account must h ave read
membership privileges, that is,
privileges to retrie ve users’ ‘memberO f’
attributes from A ctive Directory usin g
LDAP. You can use an exist ing account
or create a new special acco unt with
those privileges. Thi s account does not
need to be inside the se arch tree
specified in the Base DN.

User properties
Allow guest
access
Select to enable un authenticated access
to the Content Server as a " guest" user;
that is, without logging in.
When selected:
• Users do not have to aut henticate
to view conferences. Guest users
can view all conferen ce s that have

selected in the Confer ence
permissions.
• The RSS feeds icon is displayed
in the Recorded conferences page
for all users. Confer en ces which
allow access to all use rs and
which is not password-protected
can be viewed from an R SS
reader.

Select to send an em ai l when a
conference finish es and then complete th e
other fields in this section. Clicking Save
checks the email SM TP se ttings and a
warning is displayed if a connection to the
SMPT server fails. Ho w ever, changes to
the page are still saved , even if the email
settings are incorrect .
The email is sent to t h e address
specified in the Recording alias use d to
make the conference. The email
contains a link to find the conference in
the Recorded conferen ces page.
