API
API enabled
The Content Server incl udes an
Application Prog rammer Interface (API )
which has been designed to provide
mechanisms for extern a l systems and
services to get inform ation from, and add
information to, t h e Content Server. The
API must be enabled for a cluster.
The API has been designed for
integration with the Cisco TelePresence
Management Su ite (TMS) but can also
be used with other m an agement
systems.
The API is enabled by default and must
stay enabled:
If integration with TMS is required.
If the API is used for customized
integration with ot her systems.

If neither applies, the API can be
disabled.
User name
The Content Server AP I user name is
admin: this cannot be changed.
Password/Pa s
sword confirm
The password for accessing the Content
Server API.
The default API passw ord is
TANDBERG
.
Cisco strongly recommen ds that you
change this password if you want the
API to remain enab l ed . If you clear the
password and the password field is
empty, API clients will not receive an
authentication challenge.
