Conference editors ca n update the con feren ce information and permissions of conferen ces that they
are editors of at any tim e. Site managers ca n do this for any conference . (To change, add or d elete
conference output s, see Managing con ference outputs.)
To edit conference details:
1. Go to View Conferences > Recorded.
2. Click Edit and then Edit conference.
3. Update the fields using the table below.
4. Click Save.

Name
The name for the conferen ce to be
displayed in the View conferences
pages.
These optional fields can be used to help use rs
to search for the confe r en ce.
Description
Details about the co nference to be
displayed beneath th e name.
Speaker
Name(s) of the conferen ce
speaker(s).
Location
Where the conference t ook place.
Copyright
Copyright information about the
conference.
Keyword s
Keywords that can be used to
search for the conferen ce.
Category
The Category that this conference
will be listed under in the View
conferences
pages.
Date
The date and time at which the
recording was started .
These fields are for in formation only; you ca nnot
edit these fields.
Duration
The length of the con ference both
rounded to the nearest minute and in
HH:MM:SS format.
URL
The link to the conferen ce. Click
Play to watch the con ference in the
Content Viewer and click Email to
send the link to anot h er user.
Conference thumbnails

Choose a thumbnail t o represent the
conference on the Recor ded
conference page. Then refresh th e
page or restart the b rowser to see
the change in the Recorded
conference page.
A thumbnail is an im ag e of the conference’s
recorded video that helps users to ident i fy the
conference. They are tak en at 5 seconds, 1
minute, 5 minu tes, 30 minutes, and 1 hour into
the conference. The 3 0 minute snapshot i s t h e
default, or the last one for conferences sh or t er
than 30 minut es.
