Server address
The IP address or DNS name of
the FTP server.
Port
The port number of th e FTP
service. Most FTP servers will
use port 21.
Directory
The directory relati ve to the root
FTP directory on th e F TP
server. The director y should be
specified using forward slashes
as in a URL, e.g. /movies/ .
If left blank, files will be uploaded to th e root
FTP directory.
User name
The username to auth enticate to
the FTP server.
Password/Passwo rd

Media server configuration: Wowza Media Server for Flash
The Content Server de fau lt installation su pports only HTTP-based on demand streami n g of MPEG-4
for Flash from its loca l IIS web server. An ext ernal media server mu st be set up for live un icast and
true (RTMP) on-demand stream ing of MPEG-4 for Flash. O nly the Wowza Media Ser ver for Flash is
supported for stream ing MPEG-4 for Flash con tent.
Saving the Media server c onfiguration ch ecks that the server is ava ilable at the sp ecified server
address and disp l ays the server type, if th e information is avail ab le. Unicast live st reaming from the
Wowza Media Server for Fl ash (RTSP announ ce) is also tested when t he Media server configu ration
is saved.
