Usage tips
video stream, th en this is one of:
Switching: creates one movie file. The main
video stream is repl ace d by the dual video
stream when the dual vid eo stream is activated .
The main video stream i s displayed again when
the dual video stream st ops.
Joined: creates one movie file consist i ng of the
main video source on t he left and the dual vid eo
source to the right . For Live broadcasts, the
image shown above is disp layed in the video
instead of the dual vid eo stream while there i s
no dual video stream in the conference.
Picture in picture: creates one movie file with
the main video stream i n serted into the du al
video stream. When the dua l v ideo stream is
activated, the mai n video stream transi tions to
the selected locati on , displaying th e du al video
stream as the larger p icture. On turning off the
dual video stream, t he main video stream
transitions to t ake up the entire pictur e ag ain.
Podcast
Producer
Select this option and a Media
server configurat ion for Podcast
Producer to automat e the process
of uploading record ed content to
your Podcast Produ cer server.
The size of the outpu t for Podcast Producer i s
always Large.
iTunes U
Select this option and a Media
server configurat ion for iTunes U to
automate the process of uploading
recorded content t o an iTunes U
account.
Choose the size (Sm all, Medium or Large) of
the output to upload to iTunes U. You can also
specify an additional audio-only output.

The following information is shown for each
output:
• a description: th e format, layout and si ze
• the status
• the physical path and file name if the
output’s Media serve r configuration writ es
movies to the default m edia location
• how the output was tran scoded (live or
offline). If the out put was live transcod ed
and there is no offline transcoded output,
there is an option t o Re-transcode.
• the system name of th e Content Server
that did the transcoding (this may be a
different Content Server if the Content
Server is in a clust er)
• the on demand URL
•
the bandwidth in kbps (kilobits per second)
and dimensions
If the layout selected is Two videos, then there
will be two movie files – one for the main video
