Usage tips

Displays the maximum target bit
rate in kbps (kilobits per second)
for each size. The actu al bit rate of
outputs will depen d on the bit rate
at which the conferen ce is
recorded.
These bit rates are configured in the Advanced
streaming option s section of Site settings.

Formats not select ed above are
grayed out.
The Media server configurations shown in the
drop-down lists by d efault are those selected in
the System defau lts section of Site settings.
Live stream
Select to allow the con ference to
be streamed while it i s in
progress.
Select the Format and Size i f more than one
was selected above. O nly one live stream is
available per confer ence: the other format s and
sizes that you selected above are transcoded
after the conference h as finished.
Select Re-transcode realtime movies to have
the live transcoded m ovies be transcoded ag ain
after the conference h as completed. This can
result in better quality viewing but also adds extra
processing load on the Content Server. If Re-
transcode realtim e mo vies is not selected and
play back of the confer en ce on demand is not
satisfactory, the l i ve transcoded movies ca n be
re-transcoded from th e Summary section of the
Managing conference outputs page.
For Live Media server configuration settings
select the Media server co nfiguration to u se for
live streaming. If n one are configured, you se e:
Your movie(s) will not be broadcast live unt il you
have a live enabled Med ia server configurat i on
set up.

Output layout
Select the layout to u se.
One of:
Switching: creates one movie file. The main
video stream is repl ace d by the dual video
stream when the dual video stream is activated.
The main video stream i s displayed again when
the dual video stream st ops.
Picture in picture: creates one movie file with the
main video stream in serted into the dual vid eo
stream. When the du al video stream is activated ,
the main video stream transitions to the se l ected
location, displ ayin g the dual video stream as the
larger picture. O n turning off the dual vid eo
stream, the main vid eo stream transition s to take
up the entire picture again. This layout can be
restrictive when viewin g on a low resolution
