Output layout
Select the layout to u se.
One of:
Switching: creates one stream . The main video
stream is replaced b y the dual video stream
when the dual video stre am is activated. The
main video stream is d isplayed again when the
dual video stream st ops.
Joined: creates one stream consist ing of the
main video stream on the left and the dual vid eo
stream to the right . F or L ive broadcasts, th e
image shown above is di sp layed in the video
instead of the dual vid eo stream while there is no
dual video stream in the conference.
Two videos: creates on e stream for the main
video stream and on e for the Dual video stream
to be displayed in th e Content Viewer. If the d ual
video stream is not used during the call, then
only the main video st ream is shown during on
demand playback. Two st reams are displayed for
live conferences irr espective of whether t he dual
video stream is being used (that is; a portion of
the Content Viewer shows the default Content
Server image while th ere is no dual video stream
in the conference).
Picture in picture: creates one stream wit h the
main video stream in serted into the dual vid eo
stream. When the du al video stream is activated ,
the main video stream t ransitions to the sel ect ed
location, displ ayin g the dual video stream as the
larger picture. O n turning off the dual vid eo
stream, the main vid eo stream transition s to take
up the entire picture again.

formats
Select up to three of th e four
formats:
Windows Media for pla yback
using Windows Media Player
on a PC or using Silverlight
on an Apple Mac.
MPEG-4 for playback using
QuickTime player.
MPEG-4 for playback using
Flash player.
Real Media for playback
using Real Media Player .
All these formats c an be viewed on a PC so long
as the correct plug i n s have been downloaded
and installed.
MPEG-4 for QuickTime, MPEG-4 for Fl ash , and
Windows Media (played using Silverlight) are
available for App le Mac when the correct p lugins
have been downloaded and installed.

Select up to two confer en ce sizes
based on your users' st reaming
environment and internet
connection
Audio only: For use when users have very poor
quality internet acce ss. Audio will be record ed
and played back, and if dual video stream is
activated during the call, it will be disp layed as
still images.
Small: For u se when users have mod em access.
(By default, the m aximum bit rate is 56 kbps
see Maximum target bit rate below for t he
actual bit rate.) In the Two videos layout, the dual
video stream is disp layed as still images.
