(3) Broadcast address filtering
All of received packets with broadcast destination address are received when ABC bit in En_AFR register is set to
a ‘1’.
(4) Promiscuous mode
Setting PRO bit in En_AFR register to a ‘1’ caused all of received packets to be received.
Filtering procedure is as follows:
At first, SRXEN bit in En_MACC1 register is set to a ‘1’. In this case, the received data interface is disabled. Then,
the station address is set in En_LSA1 and En_LSA2 registers. En_AFR register is also set for enabling of unicast,
multicast and broadcast reception. In addition, En_HT1 and En_HT2 registers should be set when multicast address
filtering with the hash table is used. After these procedures, SRXEN is set to a ‘1’ in order to enable the received data
interface.
