Removing a HDD

The following describes the procedure for removing a HDD (See Figure 4-4 to 4-6).

CAUTION: Take care not to press on the top or bottom of a HDD. Pressure may cause data loss or damage to the device.

1.Turn the computer upside down.

2.Turn the screw (with e-ring)securing an HDD-1 slot cover and remove an HDD-1 slot cover.

3.Remove the following screw securing the HDD-1 assembly.

4.Disconnect the HDD-1 assembly from the connector CN1850 on the system board while sliding along the cutting tab.
