4.26 System board

CAUTION: 1. When handling the system board, always hold by the edges. Do not touch the printed circuit face.

2.If replacing with a new system board, execute the subtest01 Initial configuration in section 3.3 “Setting of the hardware configuration”. Also update with the latest BIOS and EC/KBC as described in Appendix G and in Appendix H.

Removing the system board

The following describes the procedure for removing the system board (See Figure 4-39).

1.Pull up and remove the system board from the cover assembly.

2.Disconnect the battery power harness from the connector CN8020.

3.Disconnect the battery signal harness from the connector CN8811.

4.Disconnect the SD board flat cable from the connector CN9500.

5.Disconnect the ODD flat cable from the connector CN1810.

6.Disconnect the USB harness from the connector CN4611.
