When shipped, all slots in the chassis contain impedance carriers to help maintain chassis stiffness and ensure that the chassis is undamaged during shipment. Four different types of impedance carriers exist for the four different sizes of slots in the chassis (see Figure 4-4, Figure 4-5, Figure 4-6, and Figure 4-7).
