Statistics Collection Manager
The Statistics Collection Manager (SCM) for Release 10 of CWM features two types of Statistics
Collection Management. O n e t ype of SCM is installed a s p ar t o f th e CW M S e rver installation on the
CWM server workstation, and the other typ e is a stand-alone SCM that is installed an d run from a client
CWM workstation. Both featu re s ar e d esc ribed below.

Launching the Statistics Collection Manager

To launch the Statistics Collection M anger application, click on the Statistics Collection Man ager icon,
which is found on the Netwo rk Topology tool bar , or se le ct th e S tati st ic s C olle ct ion Man ager a ppli ca tion
from the Apps pull-down menu located on the main menu bar.

Main Window

After launching the Statistics Collection Manager application for the first time, you will see a root node
called SCM Root in the lef t pa ne l of the window, as shown in Figure 8-1.
